THERE ARE NO OTHER SHOES LIKE GEOX

As any teenager I liked to wear trainers. However I am one of these people having not only very sweaty but also very smelly feet. So I was threatened with severe consequences if not getting rid of my trainers. I first changed to leather shoes with foamed or rubber sole. It was much better but my feet were still heating up and it was very unpleasant especially in offices. Then I used to wear complete leather shoes including leather soles. These offered a much better foot climate but had two distinctive disadvantages: first one got very quickly wet feet when raining and secondly when having to walk a lot - like at exhibitions - leather soles were most unsuitable.

Geox only was founded in 1995 and I cannot remember when I came across Geox the first time. I can remember that I was very sceptically seeing this flashy ads praising Geox innovative breathable system. However the shoes looked good - what can you say: designed by Italians - and they weren't more expensive then shoes with leather soles. Also I got really annoyed not having the right shoes for exhibitions or similar events. So I gave it a go it I never regret it. The Geox shoes gives a similar feel as shoes with leather soles but on top you really can walk with it and the soles are water tight. Since trying Geox shoes the first time I never bought any other shoes for work and leisure. I always have one black and one brown pair of leisure shoes and currently two pairs for leisure; one very stable shoe which is great for long distance walking and one extremely light and airy shoe for summer. And Geox is continuously extending their range. They also offer now their breathable system in Golf shoes and plan to expand into other sports.

Golf, like any other sport, makes the feet perspire considerably more than usual, creating an unpleasant, damp feeling which is often made worse by the difficult conditions of the Golf course such as humidity, rain and mud. The sole is the part of the foot that heats up most during physical activity and that can�t breathe with the traditional Golf shoes.
With this in mind, Geox has designed the first fully breathable Golf shoe for the green. The new collection is characterised by a breathable and water-repellent leather upper and furthermore by a net sole. This net, together with the special Geox membrane, enhances these characteristics, ensuring that the perspiration can evaporate properly and preventing moisture, mud or other external elements from entering the shoe. Thanks to this patented system (Geox NET System technology) the foot remains dry even in the most adverse
conditions.
The new range of shoes will be on sale in the main pro shops in the United States, Canada, South Korea and Singapore, as well as the most important European markets.

However there is still one problem with Geox shoes. Even so Geox managed to built up a world wide sales infrastructure within their 15 years of existence the full range of Geox shoes one will find only in Geox shops in major cities like London and New York. Some of High Street shoe shops will have Geox shoes as well but up to now I have seen in these shops only a very limited range. Therefore it's worth to check out the online shoe shops as well even so I like to fit them first and have a feel for the products before buying. Having looked now at quite a few online shops I was quite surprised that even for Geox Shoes Amazon has the most comprehensive range. Just check out Geox at Amazon US or Geox at Amazon UK!

Anyway Geox shoes are the best shoes I ever came across and if you like functional shoes with Italian style have a look at the Geox range and if you suffer from overheating and sweaty feet like myself there is no other choice.
